Press tv qoute:
“General John Allen flew to Logar to see local leaders and the population to apologize and offer condolences to the families,” NATO spokesman Brigadier General Carsten Jacobson stated on Friday.
On Thursday, Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the Logar attack, noting that 18 people killed in the NATO airstrike in the village of Sajawand a day earlier were all civilians.
“Attacks by NATO that cause life and property losses to civilians under no circumstances could be justified and are not acceptable,” Karzai said in a statement.
The Afghan president also criticized NATO for not being able to provide an explanation for the piles of bodies of the women and children killed in the strike.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for Karzai said the president decided to curtail his trip to China because of the attack in Logar and deadly bombings which killed more than 20 people in Kandahar, in the south.
More civilian casualties in NATO operations have further soured ties with the US-led military alliance already strained over deadly nighttime raids, which the Afghan government condemns for putting civilians in the crossfire.
This incident proves that we are nearing the end times now. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that killing and war would increase as the “hour” came closer.
The people who died in this strike including children is collateral damage to us. Imagine how the families of these people are feeling, imagine the pain and suffering they are going through while the leaders of the Muslim world aren’t doing anything for them. The president of Afghanistan who is obviously an installed puppet of the west can do nothing but just criticize and condemn these strikes. He will never demand the U.S. to leave Afghanistan immediately because he knows that his presidency is alive because of the protection he receives from the U.S.
Not only that, but the neighboring government of Pakistan has supported the western led effort to rid the region of so-called terrorism. Many Muslims living in the west are blind and miss guided who are busy with the worldly life in the west.
The Amazing part is, many non-muslims here in the west have protested against deadly drone strikes inside Pakistan as well as Afghanistan. But this wasn’t just a normal drone strike but an air strike by NATO forces. The president of Afghanistan has been criticizing these air strikes for several years.
The government of Iran could care less because they have their own agenda in Afghanistan. Their Agenda is to install an Iran friendly regime. Iran is actually happy because the U.S. is doing all the work they want done in Afghanistan for them. Iran wants an anti-taliban government in Afghanistan because Iran has always been against the Taliban. Iran could careless about these civilian casualties.
The lessons we should learn are clear, Muslims are being slaughtered and butchered all across the middle east and the corrupt Muslim rulers are supporting the slaughter. There is no one to stand up and say, enough is enough! Also, Muslims today are very low in imaan (faith) to even care about Muslims in other parts of the world. We need to first increase our imaan and we need to have a connection with our creator to be able to understand the reality of the world in which we live in today. Thanks to electronics like the television, Muslims as well as non-muslims are being distracted from whats going on in the world. If it weren’t for the brainwashing of the TV, the world would be up in arms against the evil governments.
All the killings going on in the Muslim world shows that Qiyammah is near. We can strive and struggle now to get closer to God almighty and we should strive to increase our knowledge. There are dark times ahead but there is always light at the end of the dark tunnel of time. The middle east is going to face more wars and there will be more killing. All we can do now is to spread awareness and have faith in Allah that he gives us patience. Ameen !
